Davina was born and raised in Southern California. As a small child, she spent countless hours drawing with Crayola markers, which consequently led to much worrying about the uneven rate at which certain markers dry up from over-use. (Peach—for skin tone—was always the first to go and orange just didn’t cut it.) Her love for drawing and illustration naturally led her to consider a career in design.

She attended art school in New York City where she learned about things like information hierarchy, <html> tags, and typography. After graduation, she returned to sunny California to thaw out and enter the work force.

Davina is currently working as a Senior Designer at an in-house creative department in West Hollywood. Aside from her posh corporate gig, she occasionally accepts freelance work in her spare time. She loves her FontBook, Garrett’s popcorn, floor plans and stainless steel. Scripty fonts in all-caps make her angry.
