Law firm websites tend to…well, look like they were designed by lawyers. Or worse. So I was super excited at the opportunity to redesign a website for Linder & Gully, a Phoenix-based law firm specializing in commercial trucking law. I hope the site now makes them look as saavy and awesome as they really are! |

An insurance website targeting the Latino market. The challenge here was to find the right balance between the bright colors attractive to a Latino audience, the bold and powerful look asssociated with the company identity, and the clients desire for a classy look and feel. A fun marketing idea to encourage folks to download and assemble branded gators-on-(popsicle)sticks, and take pictures of him at various live events. One of my proudest accomplishmentsthe design of the Ticketmasters Interactive Seat Map interface. It took almost 2 years to complete, and the end product enables users to pick and choose their own seats for an event, instead of relying on the system to return a satisfactory search for seats. This application includes features such as multi-leveled views, filtering via price and ticket type, and an expandable (and collapsable) shopping cart. The design of the original venue test map was created in illustrator (which included placing over 12,000 individual seats by hand!), with transitions and interactive functionality built in flash. One of my most challenging (and rewarding) projects, the Event Detail Page (or EDP) design template is used by every event ticketed through Ticketmaster, and seen by every person who purchases anything on the website. *Art Direction by Debbie Kim. |

The Ticketmaster standalone touch screen kiosk enables consumers to walk up to a venue and browse, purchase, and print tickets for a show, all without the aid of box office personnel. *The intial interface was originally designed by Gary Leung, before he left the company. I later took over the project and continued the design of the applications enhancements and animated transitions, including search, localization, will-call, and shopping cart functionality. The static screens were designed in photoshop, with fully-animated transitions built in flash. Developers then took the flash files and rebuilt the application using Adobe Flex. |

This tool was meant to enable event programers to create, control, and track events and sales performance, all from a single application. It had the ability to export event data directly to Excel, as well as generate reports and reminder emails. |

This web-based point of sale application was originally built for use by Ticketmasters European ticketing partners. It was later re-purposed for use in China at the Beijing 2008 Olympics. The greatest design challenge here was the static and inflexible structure of the page. Despite needing to accomodate various kinds of functionality (seating maps, shopping carts, data tables, search, etc.), the app had fixed sizing, which meant the introduction of both horizontal and vertical scrollbars. It was a tough project, but one from which I learned a lot about application design. *Art Direction by Gary Leung. |

For the design of this page, I tried picking the peach from Keiths skin tone to use for a highlight color, but it was too bright for the column band, so I ended up toning it down to a more muted maude. The peach worked ok for the text accent. |

For this design, since the image focuses squarely on Shakiras lips, I thought it might be fun to implement lipstick imprints somewhere on the page. I ended up replacing the traditional Go buttons with them. |

Madonnas Confessions Tour page was quite fun to design. I believe this was one of Ticketmasters more simple auctions, which meant less ticket jargon to squeeze onto the page. |

Working with the band to get this design approved was an extremely slow and painful process. However, I got a ticket to their awesome sold-out show as a result, making it all worthwhile. |
